Solar power is one of the major sources of renewable energy, the carbon footprint generated by solar power for one kWh is 35 gCo2e. Whereas, the carbon footprint for one kWh by traditional fuel is 528 gCo2e in some of the Asia cities.  The reduction of carbon footprint can be as much as 493 gCo2e for every kWh.

Starting From 2023, Corvette has installed “Photovoltaic Generation System” to several Petrol Filling Stations in Hong Kong, which allows these stations not only to generate but ultimately consume these renewable energy.

Since the beginning of operation, a total of 5,386 kWh solar power has been generated from the installed system, which allowed these Petrol Filling Station to cut down the same amount of energy consumption from traditional fuel. As 493 gCo2e carbon footprint will be saved every kWh, a total of 2,655,298 gCo2e has been reduced as of June 2024.
